201.6 Syncing between Different Devices

NoteDex will sync between all your devices.

We are one of the few apps to use a true cloud-sync feature which is not restricted by vendor constraints (e.g. iOS & Mac only syncing) or using 'file share' type syncing (like save to Google Drive/Dropbox).

When you sign-in to NoteDex you can use any type of account you like including:

  • Apple ID
  • Google ID
  • Microsoft ID

OR

You can create your own NoteDex username & password.

The only thing to remember is to make sure you use the same account on all your devices - whether you sign in on the app (Windows, Android) or on the Web at https://notedex.app

Not Seeing Your Cards?

This can happen if you have signed in on your phone using one account and on your computer with a different account. Here is how you can check:

On each device click on your name in the top-right of the screen e.g. 'Hi Prem'

Then you will see a message like this:

This will tell you which email address you used, and also most importantly, which login method:

Apple = Apple ID login method

Google = Google ID login method

Microsoft = Microsoft ID login method

ADB2C = NoteDex (or Index Cards) User Name and Password method

Check on all your connected devices to ensure you are all using the same method.

If you still are not seeing, do a re-sync of NoteDex by going into settings;
